The Lifesystems Survival Bag is a durable survival bag for emergencies during hiking, trekking, mountaineering and other outdoor activities. The wind and waterproof construction protects against rain, wind and cold and helps limit body heat loss when you are forced to stay outdoors.

The bright orange color makes you easier to spot, while printed SOS instructions provide guidance in an emergency. The survival bag weighs 290 grams and takes up little space in your backpack.

Protection against wind, rain and cold

The Survival Bag is made of durable polyethylene with welded seams. The material forms a wind and waterproof barrier around the body and provides a simple emergency bivouac shelter when the weather deteriorates or when you need to wait for help.

The tapered shape provides full body coverage. The side gussets create extra interior space so that one person can fit in with their gear. In an emergency, the bag can also accommodate up to two people.

High visibility and SOS instructions

The bright orange color is highly visible in the terrain and can help rescue personnel locate you. There are also printed SOS instructions on the outside that serve as a handy reminder of important actions in an emergency.

Use

Remove the bag from the packaging and place your body and equipment inside to create protection from the elements. Always keep your face and airways clear. It is advisable to use an insulating sleeping pad and dry clothing to further reduce heat loss.

The Lifesystems Survival Bag is intended as an emergency bivouac and safety equipment. It is not a substitute for a sleeping bag, sleeping mat or full protection for a planned overnight stay. In the event of a serious emergency, call 112.
