The history of Colltex is closely intertwined with the Fischli family from Glarus. The company was founded in 1948 by Hans Fischli and quickly became known as Tödi Sport . From an early age, the business was characterized by a desire to improve ski equipment for demanding alpine environments.

In the 1960s, the company began to focus on ski bags, but in 1968 came the big breakthrough:
