Trancivers

Avalanche transmitters and transceivers for top tours and off-piste

An avalanche transceiver can both transmit a radio signal and be used to search for other avalanche transceivers in the event of an avalanche. At Outdoor Buddies you will find digital avalanche transceivers with three antennas , with or without voice guidance.

Compare the features when choosing a model:

Search display: Direction and distance on the display provide support during the search.

Voice guidance: Select models provide spoken instructions to complement the on-screen information.

Handling and fit: Compare controls, carrying system, and how easy the device is to use with gloves.

In avalanche terrain, everyone in the group needs their own avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. Combine the equipment with avalanche training and regular practice. Get to know your model and follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and function checks.
