Avalanche backpacks with airbag for mountain touring and off-piste

An avalanche backpack with a deployed airbag can reduce the risk of being completely buried in an avalanche. At Outdoor Buddies you will find avalanche backpacks for top touring and off-piste , with different airbag systems, fits and pack volumes.

Choose a backpack based on your riding and equipment:

Airbag system: Choose between electric, rechargeable systems and models that use a pressure cartridge.

Fit and carrying comfort: The backpack should fit securely and provide freedom of movement during both ascent and descent.

Packing volume and storage: Make sure that the shovel, probe, extra clothes and other equipment have space and are easily accessible.

An avalanche backpack complements the avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. Avalanche knowledge, regular practice and thoughtful route choices are crucial. Get to know the airbag system and follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and inspection.
