With a weight of only 185 g, the CARBON 240 SUPERLIGHT is Ortovox's lightest probe. This 240 cm long probe can be quickly and easily mounted using its quick-lock mounting system. It is therefore ready for use in just a few seconds, and can be folded just as quickly. The tension can be easily and quickly adjusted by turning the optimized adjustment screw. The large probe tip, which has a significantly larger diameter compared to the probe elements, ensures improved penetration. Ortovox has also optimized the probe segments so that they now have a more compact package size. CARBON 240 SUPERLIGHT fits easily in your touring backpack.

As with all Ortovox probes, the CARBON 240 SUPERLIGHT has a visual guidance system with depth markers and a clear 1 meter marker.

VISUAL GUIDE SYSTEM

The intuitive visual guide system always gives you quick and clear information about the depth of the victim. You can quickly adapt your digging strategy and save important time thanks to the clear 1m marker, depth scale and colorful end segments. The bottom segment in neon orange indicates when you are approaching the victim.
