Hilleberg Windsack 3 is a simple, lightweight and extremely versatile shelter that acts as life insurance in the event of sudden weather changes . It is developed to function as an emergency bivouac , but has proven to be just as useful as a temporary rest shelter, windbreak, sleeping bag cover or improvised tarp – all year round and in all types of terrain.

The windbag can accommodate up to three people and is constructed with a completely waterproof silicone-coated nylon back and an air-permeable, water-repellent front , providing a smart balance between weather protection and effective ventilation. This makes it particularly suitable for winter tours, skiing and mountain hiking, but it also comes in handy during windy summer trips.

It is equipped with a four-way zipper , which allows for openings for the head, arms or ventilation where needed. The closable hem with drawstring helps keep wind and snow out, and the built-in safety line prevents the bag from blowing away in strong winds when getting in or out.

With loops in the corners, the Windsack 3 can also be strung up as a stand-alone windbreak or used as a signal panel , where the red side makes you highly visible even from a distance. Thanks to its low weight and small packing volume, this is an accessory that should be in every mountain and winter pack .
