Shipping and delivery

We want it to be easy and safe to order equipment from Outdoor Buddies – regardless of whether the package is going to Åre, the rest of Sweden or further out into the world. Here you will find information about our shipping costs, delivery methods, returns and pickup.

Available shipping options and current prices are always displayed at checkout based on delivery country, order value and which products you order.

Shipping costs

Sweden

Free shipping on orders over 999 SEK.

Shipping from SEK 49 on orders below the free shipping threshold.

The final shipping cost is displayed at checkout and may vary depending on the package size, weight and selected delivery method.

Countries within the EU

Free shipping on orders over 1,999 SEK.

Shipping SEK 149 on orders under SEK 2,000.

For skis, sleds, ski poles and ice skates, a shipping cost of SEK 495 is added due to the length and size of the products.

Select the shipping option Europe - shipping skis and poles at checkout when the order contains any of these products.

Norway and Greenland

Free shipping on orders over 2,499 SEK.

Shipping 149 SEK on orders under 2,499 SEK.

For skis, sleds, poles and skates, the shipping cost is 895 SEK.

Select the International Shipping - Skis and Poles shipping option at checkout when your order includes any of these products.

UK

Free shipping on orders over 2,999 SEK.

Shipping SEK 249 on orders under SEK 2,999.

Switzerland and Iceland

Free shipping on orders over 4,999 SEK.

Shipping SEK 395 on orders under SEK 4,999.

Rest of the world

The shipping cost to other countries is SEK 1,495.

Available delivery options will be displayed at checkout once you have entered your delivery address.

Delivery method

We choose shipping companies based on the size, weight and contents of the package to ensure that your order arrives as smoothly and safely as possible.

PostNord

Normal delivery time is 1–3 working days.

PostNord is used for most normal-sized packages within Sweden.

DHL

Normal delivery time is 1–3 working days.

DHL is primarily used for heavier or more bulky shipments.

Schenker

Normal delivery time is 2–5 working days.

Schenker is typically used for longer products such as ice spikes, skis and poles.

Express shipping

Orders with express shipping are shipped the same day or the next business day, depending on when the order is received and whether all products are in stock.

Estimated delivery time within Sweden is 1–2 working days.

Express shipping means that the order is prioritized in our processing. Delivery time may be affected by holidays, weather conditions and carrier capacity.

Home delivery

With home delivery, the package is sent directly to your specified delivery address.

Smaller packages can be left in the mailbox or at the door, depending on the carrier's terms and conditions and the delivery option you have chosen.

Direct delivery from supplier

Some products may be shipped directly from one of our suppliers. This helps us offer a wider range and can in some cases result in faster delivery.

You will receive information via email if all or part of your order is shipped directly from the supplier.

Pick up in Åre

If you want to avoid shipping, you can pick up your order from us in Åre.

Pick up in store

Your order can be picked up at our store during regular opening hours. Please wait until you have received a notification that your order is packed and ready before coming to pick it up.

Pick up in the locker

Outside the store's opening hours, you can pick up your order from our locker.

Once the order is packed and placed in the locker, we will send a code and instructions via text message or email.

Delivery time and order processing

We always strive to pack and ship your order the same day or the day after we receive your order.

When your order is processed, you will receive an email with delivery information and a tracking number. Please note that it can sometimes take a while for the tracking to update with the carrier.

During high traffic, promotions, holidays or extreme weather conditions, handling and delivery may take slightly longer.

Unclaimed packages

Packages are normally held by the agent for 7–14 days. The exact holding time is determined by the carrier and is stated in the delivery notification.

If the package is not picked up and sent back to us, SEK 249 will be charged for return shipping, administration and handling.

A package that is not picked up is not considered a regular return. If you want to cancel your purchase, you will need to receive or pick up the package and then register a return according to our return instructions.

Return shipping

The return shipping for orders within Sweden is SEK 79. The cost is normally deducted from the amount refunded.

For the following long, heavy or bulky products, the return shipping fee is SEK 495:

Rods

Skis

Sleds

Shackles

Nikwax 25 litre cans

Customers within the EU and the rest of the world are responsible for booking and paying for return shipping. We recommend that returns be sent with a trackable delivery as the customer is responsible for the package until it reaches us.

Deliveries outside the EU

We ship worldwide. The shipping options available for your address will be displayed at checkout.

Orders shipped to countries outside the EU may be subject to local VAT, customs duties, import duties or administrative fees. These costs are not included in the product or shipping price and are paid by the recipient according to the rules of the country of delivery.

Outdoor Buddies is not responsible for local import fees or for delays that occur in connection with customs processing.

Good to know before you order

Please ensure that your name, delivery address, postal code, telephone number and email address are correct before completing your order. Incorrect information may cause delays or result in your package being returned to us.

If you have ordered skis, poles, sleds or other long products, it is important that you select the special shipping option for skis and poles at checkout.
