The OMM Kamleika Jacket Womens is a high-performance, women's adapted running and mountain jacket , developed specifically for trail running and mountain running in tough weather conditions . The jacket is part of OMM's iconic Kamleika series, which was introduced back in 2005 and is now in its sixth generation , where the focus is on freedom of movement, comfort, durability and sustainable material selection .
The women's model has a tailored fit with a flattering and functional cut , which allows for plenty of room for layering without feeling bulky. The jacket sits securely even when running on technical terrain and is designed to be worn on the move during long sessions , not just as a backup.
The Kamleika material is a 4-way stretch, soft and quiet fabric that feels like a softshell but works as a fully waterproof shell . The latest version uses a PFAS-free membrane and PFC-free DWR treatment , which reduces environmental impact without compromising performance. The jacket has a water column of 20,000 mm and a breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24h , making it well suited for intensive running in rain, wind and chilly conditions.
Features are taken from rugged mountain shells: fully taped seams, YKK® AquaGuard zippers, two hand/map pockets , and adjustable cuffs with integrated thumbholes . The laminated hood with a moldable visor follows the movements of the head and stays in place even in strong winds. The dynamic droptail design provides extra protection at the back, especially when using a running backpack.
With a weight of around 235–245 grams (medium/large women's), the Kamleika Jacket Womens combines very high weather protection with superior comfort and mobility , something that is often highlighted in tests as one of the jacket's greatest strengths.

The current model has a Regular Fit , which means a normal and movement-friendly fit. It is not as close to the body as some older generations of the Kamleika Jacket.
The stretchy material follows the body's movements without feeling stiff, but the jacket should still provide enough room for the clothes underneath. The four-way stretch is primarily intended to improve freedom of movement and is not a reason to choose a size that is too small.
Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Hold the tape measure horizontally across your back and do not pull it too tight.
Stand with your feet close together and measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Make sure the measuring tape is flat.
It is advisable to take the measurement over a thin base layer, especially if this is how the jacket will mainly be used.
The correct size should:
Try the jacket on with the layers you normally wear. A shell jacket that is too tight can restrict movement and provide poor ventilation, while a jacket that is too big can create unnecessary flutter in the wind.
