the OMM Phantom 18

The Phantom 18 is a slimline VestPack for adventure racing. Stabilized around your spine with OMMS's unique 7-point harness connects the pack to the runner's spine via a top-type harness to provide the most stable support possible. The oxen also frees the shoulders, which enables more energy-efficient running. Dual V-shaped anchors wrap around the waist to provide a secure fit and control bounce and swing on uneven ground.

Combine the capacity of a pack with the availability of a vest, perfect for multi-day racing or ultra challenges where regular stops to grab kit aren't an option.

Stabilized around your spine, the Phantom Suspension system uses a narrow yoke behind the neck to attach the pack to the spine rather than the shoulders, allowing the shoulders to move freely increasing the efficiency of your action.

Two shock-absorbing over-the-shoulder suspension cords work in tandem to further reduce sway and keep the pack in line with the spine.

The weight of the bag is taken by the yoke attachment point with shock absorption and visibility controlled by the tensioned bungees over each shoulder.

Vertical movement is reduced by two equalized anchor points fed to a split adjuster. This creates a very stable Y shape that hugs the vest pack into the lower spine. As the runner pushes off, the weight pulls on the lower strap, as the runner falls back down, the upper strap tightens and prevents the shoulder from coming loose.
