The OMM Barrage Jacket is a fully waterproof and insulated jacket designed for cold and wet conditions , especially during pre- and post-events , breaks and exposed camps in mountain environments. The jacket combines OMM's lightest race-grade waterproof shell with high-quality synthetic insulation , providing reliable warmth even in wet weather .
The insulation consists of PrimaLoft® Gold with Cross-Core technology , with 80 g/m² used in the body for maximum warmth and 40 g/m² in the arms for better mobility and reduced bulk. This is PrimaLoft®'s highest grade of synthetic insulation , with a very high warmth-to-weight ratio and maintained performance even when the garment gets damp.
The outer fabric is PointZero H2O® , OMM's proven race waterproof material , which is fully windproof and waterproof , has taped seams and at the same time offers good breathability. The result is a garment that protects against strong wind, rain and cold in a single layer - without being unnecessarily heavy.
Weighing in at around 375-400 grams, the Barrage Jacket is remarkably light for being both insulated and waterproof. The fit is close and functional , designed to work well under a backpack or running vest. The jacket is equipped with a fully adjustable hood and two zippered handwarmer pockets , making it as practical in an urban environment as it is at a wet and windy camp at The OMM .
The Barrage Jacket is also part of OMM's Sleep System concept and can be paired with the Rotor Pant & Foot Pod to create an ultra-light sleeping bag alternative , suited for light overnight stays and time in camp.

The OMM Barrage Jacket is a men's insulated jacket with a Regular Fit . The fit is roomier than OMM's body-hugging running garments and is designed to work over both base layers and mid layers.
The measurements in the table are body measurements, not the jacket measurements.
| Size | Chest circumference | Waist circumference | Recommended body height |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 80–86 cm | 70–76 cm | 155–162 cm |
| S | 86–92 cm | 76–81 cm | 162–173 cm |
| M | 92–102 cm | 81–86cm | 173–183 cm |
| L | 102–110 cm | 86–92 cm | 178–188 cm |
| XL | 110–117cm | 92–97 cm | 185–193 cm |
The body length is a guide. Start with the chest circumference first, then the waist, shoulder width and desired storage capacity.
OMM classifies the Barrage Jacket as a Regular Fit . It has a straighter and roomier fit than the brand's Fitted and Contact Fit models.
The jacket is designed to be worn over a base layer and a mid layer. The synthetic insulation should not be pressed tightly against the body, as compressed insulation can reduce warmth and freedom of movement.
Measure around the widest part of your chest, under your arms and over your shoulder blades. Hold the measuring tape horizontally and comfortably against your body.
Measure around your natural waist, usually where your torso bends when you lean to the side. Do not pull the tape measure too tight.
Measure your height without shoes. Use this measurement as a guide to determine the sleeve and back length of the jacket.
Take your body measurements over a thin layer. The garment's Regular Fit already includes room for underwear and a normal midlayer.
The correct size should:
If the jacket feels tight when you cross your arms in front of your body or when you wear your normal midlayer, you should choose a larger size. If large amounts of material gather around the chest, waist and sleeves, the size is probably too large.
