the OMM Core Vest

A new concept in active insulation, the OMM Core Range is made entirely of PrimaLoft® ACTIVE ultralight insulating fabric. Built from a synthetic down woven through a knitted mesh, Core offers the warmth of a fleece but with less than half the weight. Along with a shell, the core is an incredibly effective insulator, but thanks to near-total air permeability, the lightest breeze can take that heat away. This allows you to maintain your core layer even when you've warmed up and you can thermo-regulate by removing/rolling up your shell (e.g. Sonic Windproof at 49g). A real valley to a peak. Core works wet or dry with incredible moisture wicking properties to ensure you don't stay wet for long.

Wear the Core Vest as a super warm first layer in the coldest events and challenges from the OMM to the Spine and Yukon Ultra or layer it on as an insulating mid layer.

The Core Vest uses the lightest 75g/m2 PrimaLoft® ACTIVE Insulating Fabric Technology, the lighter version of the 125g/m2 PrimaLoft® Active fabric used in the Core Jacket and Core+ Hoodie
