Stabilizing ribs and high sidewalls give the anodized blade rigidity, while the integrated shaft sleeve makes it easy to pack. With the new quick release, the blade and the knurled telescopic shaft can be assembled in one movement. The new T-Grip Pro is revolutionary. It can be inserted for both right- and left-handed users. One hand grasps the long grip side, which acts as an ergonomic lever, while the other hand has maximum grip on the handle's rubberized grip zone.

Ortovox's new POCKET SPIKE is simply brilliant! Although it is usually hidden in the backpack or trouser pocket (hence the name), the POCKET SPIKE can be quickly retrieved in risky situations, such as when you only have a few meters to the top or if you have to cross a steep slope. In two steps, you can attach it to the PRO ALU III spade handle for extra help. The POCKET SPIKE has two parts: the sharp forged ax head of AL 7075 T6 and the shaft tip, which replaces the spade blade. The two parts snap together into a single piece with no sharp edges and weigh just 95 grams. Suitable for rides where a little extra help is needed during the last meters.
