The future of freeriding: AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 28 is an avalanche backpack that has been specially designed for downhill skiing. From powder days close to the piste to multi-day freeride tours: Just one BASE can be used to attach different sizes of AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE and TOUR Zip accessories, each tailored to their intended use. The Zip is designed in such a way that the base and the various bags, when combined, merge into one unit.

The BASE of the AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 28 consists of a back element and cushion system and thanks to the CLASP BACK SYSTEM – with soft back cushions, wide, flexible hip belt and soft shoulder straps – it sits extremely close to the back while allowing complete freedom of movement. It is compatible with the CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR (sold separately).

Pockets and functions are precisely tailored for freeriding: Features such as mounts for skis, snowboards and ice axes as well as a helmet holder and quick access to the main compartment leave nothing to be desired. Emergency equipment can be stored in a separate safety compartment.

LiTRIC, the electronic pillow system, is light, reliable and easy to use. The electronic system can be fully charged in approx. 25 minutes via USB-C and activation can be tested as many times as desired. The lack of a cartridge means: more space, no weighing necessary, no cartridge disposal, no travel restrictions. The design is smart down to the last detail, supercapacitors are used instead of cartridges and the cushion is ultra-light – which makes the system one of the lightest on the market. And the system is particularly easy to use. From charging and LED display, to the activation handle, to packing the pads and the leg loop: LiTRIC AVABAGS are absolutely intuitive to use. One charge enables at least two activations. When switched on, its operating time is approximately 60 hours, allowing for multi-day tours without the need for charging. Its operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +45°C.
