The Ortovox Ravine 28 is a lightweight and technical ski backpack for freeride and mountain tours where you climb under your own power. With a 28 liter pack volume and a weight of approximately 840 grams, it combines low weight with features that simplify the handling of your ski equipment.
The backpack is perfect for those who switch between hiking, carrying skis and downhill skiing. Quick-release ski mounts and an easy-to-access bottom compartment allow you to manage parts of your equipment while the backpack remains on your back.
The parallel ski attachment with carabiner makes it easy to attach skis for shorter carrying passages. You can also carry skis in an A-formation on the sides or diagonally with the D-Skifix.
Ice axe and rope attachments and a helmet net help you organize your gear on the outside of the backpack. Compression straps keep your gear together.
The main compartment is accessible from both the top and the side. A separate safety compartment keeps avalanche equipment organized, while the bottom compartment provides easy-access storage for crampons, for example.
Map pockets and valuables pockets with key holders help you keep smaller accessories organized. The backpack is also prepared for a hydration system.
The Full Contact Light back system is designed to follow your back and distribute the load close to your body. The compact design contributes to a stable fit during both ascents and descents.
The Ravine 28 has a special inner pocket for the Ortovox CLASP Spine Protector . The back protector is sold separately and can complement the backpack when you want extra protection.
