ALU 320 + PFA is Ortovox's stable, extendable aluminum probe with PFA mounting system. It has the same characteristics as the Ortovox ALU 240 PFA probe, but is 320 cm long and extendable. The tip is also replaceable.

Thanks to the optimized PFA system, the ALU 320 + PFA is now MORE COMPACT while offering better handling. The quick-mount strap enables immediate opening and mounting in one movement. To determine burial depth and choose an optimized digging strategy, all Ortovox probes have highly legible depth markings and a clear 1 meter marking. The bottom segment in neon orange provides visual notification of the buried person's proximity during excavation. The ALU 320 + PFA's new and improved rubberized grip also ensures safe, ice-free handling in all conditions.

PFA QUICK ASSEMBLY SYSTEM 2.0

The successor to Ortovox's oft-copied quick-mount system is even SLIMMER and MORE COMPACT, while offering the same proven smooth clamping performance. Thanks to the NEW QUICK ASSEMBLY STRAP, the probe can be mounted directly from the cover. It can be folded by pressing the system lid with your thumb.

PROBE'S VISUAL GUIDE SYSTEM

The intuitive visual guide system always gives you quick and clear information about the depth of the victim. You can adapt your digging strategy and save important time thanks to the clear 1m marker, CONTRASTING DEPTH SCALE and COLORFUL END SEGMENTS. The bottom segment in neon orange indicates when you are approaching the victim.

QUICK RELEASE

The quick mounting strap enables immediate OPENING AND MOUNTING IN ONE MOVEMENT, without having to first remove the probe from the cap.

LARGE PROBE TIP

The significantly larger diameter of the probe tip compared to the probe elements ensures improved penetration.
