The Lundhags Guide Expedition BC is a robust and warm high-shaft ski touring boot , developed for demanding winter conditions where stability, insulation and durability are crucial. It is designed for long tours in mountains, forests and open winter landscapes - no matter if it is cold, wet or windy.
The ski boot is built according to Lundhags classic shell principle , which means maximum durability, effective moisture management and the ability to adapt the insulation to activity and temperature.
The Guide Expedition BC has a high shaft that provides extra support, protection and warmth compared to lighter BC boots. This makes the model particularly suitable for:
longer mountain trips
winter expeditions
cold and windy weather
sledding or sledding
The roomy fit provides plenty of room for insulation and movement, contributing to warmer feet on long days.
The upper is built in a strong 3-layer construction that:
wraps the foot stably
distributes pressure evenly from the lacing
provides high comfort even under heavy loads
The shaft is made of Perwanger® suede leather , an extremely durable and water-repellent leather that is well-proven in alpine environments.
The lower part consists of Certech® 5.0 cellular rubber , which provides:
full waterproofness
effective insulation against ground cooling
long life in tough terrain
The cellular rubber base is ideal for both dry cold days and damp snow conditions.
Closest to the foot is a removable inner lining made of 5 mm wool felt , which:
provides very good warmth even in cold weather
retains insulating properties in moisture
dries quickly
can be easily changed during the tour
The inner lining is equipped with Heel Fit Control™ (HFC™) for better heel grip, stability and reduced wear.
The Guide Expedition BC is equipped with the Rottefella® BC sole and is compatible with:
