The Lundhags Guide BC is a stable and versatile ski touring boot for backcountry skiing and cross-country skating , designed for Nordic winter conditions where durability, comfort and moisture management are crucial. It is built according to Lundhags' classic shell principle , which provides long life and the ability to adapt the boot to activity and temperature.
Guide BC is an excellent choice for mountain tours, forest terrain, lake ice and longer winter days where you need a reliable ski boot that works equally well in cold and wet conditions.
The ski boot has a durable Certech® 4.5-cell rubber base that:
is completely waterproof
effectively insulates against cold from the ground
withstands wet and slushy conditions
The mid-height construction provides good support for the foot and ankle without feeling bulky during longer movements.
Guide BC is designed according to Lundhags' proven scale principle:
the outer boot stands for durability and protection
the insulation is in a removable inner lining
The inner lining is made of 3 mm wool felt , which provides:
natural warmth even in humid conditions
fast drying time
possibility to change or dry the liner during the tour
The inner lining is also equipped with Heel Fit Control™ (HFC™) for improved heel grip and stable walking.
The shaft is made of Perwanger® suede leather and has a hybrid design between Lundhags 1- and 3-layer boots . The strong 3-layer construction:
effectively wraps the foot
distributes pressure evenly across the lacing
provides high comfort even during long day trips
The padded edge at the top contributes to increased comfort around the calf.
The Guide BC is equipped with the Rottefella® BC sole , making it compatible with:
