PrimaLoft® ACTIVE Insulating Fabric weaves PrimaLoft® fibers onto a mesh, creating a very high volume and open structure. The fabrics insulate by trapping air pockets that the wearer’s heat cannot pass through. The Core structure is exceptional at creating these pockets. However, the openness also allows a light breeze to disrupt these air pockets and remove the insulating effect. Core uses this to its advantage; layer a light shell jacket over for the best possible warmth-weight layer, and when you get too warm, simply adjust/remove the shell and you can continue to push hard towards the top.
