The OMM Fusion Gloves are a close-fitting, midweight running glove designed for trail running, mountain running and fast rides in variable weather . The body-hugging fit provides excellent dexterity , which is essential on steep climbs, scrambling or when handling maps and gear on the move.

The gloves combine a windproof upper that protects against cold and wind with a light fleece in the palm , which provides warmth even when the gloves get damp . For better control, the fingers and palm are equipped with silicone grips , which makes it easier to both read maps and grip poles or bottles.

The index finger features an E-Tip feature , which allows you to use your smartphone, GPS or sports watch without taking off your gloves – handy in cold and windy conditions. The low-bulk construction and stretch material provide comfort without compromising warmth or freedom of movement.

* The length measurement refers to the approximate product dimensions of the glove. The width of the palm is the most important measurement when choosing a size.

How are Fusion Gloves sized?

OMM classifies Fusion Gloves as Contact Fit . This means a close fit that follows the hand and provides good control over the fingers. The stretchy material adapts to the hand, but the gloves should not be so tight that they restrict circulation or finger movement.

Sizes M and L have the same stated width across the palm, but L is longer and therefore better suited for longer fingers and hands.

Our size recommendation

  • Normal hand width and finger length: Choose size according to the width of your palm.
  • If you are between two sizes: Normally choose the larger size.
  • Wide hand or thicker fingers: Choose the larger size.
  • Narrow hand with long fingers: Also compare the length measurement and avoid a size where the fingertips are pressed against the material.
  • Palm around 9 cm: Choose M for normal or shorter finger length and L for longer fingers or a slightly roomier fit.
  • For maximum precision and map or mobile phone handling: The glove should fit snugly without loose material at the fingertips.
  • If your hands get cold easily: Avoid a size that is too tight, as restricted circulation can make your hands colder.

How to measure your hand

Palm width

  1. Place your dominant hand flat with your fingers together.
  2. Measure across the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles.
  3. Don't include your thumb in the measurement.
  4. Measure with a ruler in a straight line – not around your hand.
  5. Compare the result with the table.

Measure the dominant hand as it is often slightly larger.

Hand length

Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your index finger. Use the length as a supplementary measurement, especially if you have unusually long or short fingers.

Check the fit

The correct size should:

  • sit close to the hand without restricting blood circulation
  • allow the fingers to bend and stretch freely
  • reach your fingertips without pressing
  • lack large amounts of loose material at the fingers
  • let the silicone pattern lie firmly against the palm of your hand
  • provide sufficient precision to handle rods, map and zip lines
  • let the e-tip of the index finger be in contact with the fingertip

If the material tightens when you tie your hand or if the seams press against your fingertips, you should choose a larger size. If your fingers slide inside the glove and the e-tip function is misaligned, the size is probably too large.
