Pajak Sherpa 2.0 Down Mitts

Pajak Sherpa Mitts 2.0 – unisex expedition down gloves. Made of polyamide 6.6 and Airtastic SLF15 DWR, filled with premium Polish white goose down 900 cuin and reinforced wear zones. They feature a handkerchief, H-construction, Woo Jin components and a 1-liter compression bag.

Sherpa Mitts 2.0 are the second generation of Pajak’s expedition gloves – now more durable and warmer than before. Pajak designed them for winter alpine expeditions, long days in cold weather and overnight stays. They keep your hands warm – from the first steps on the trail, through climbing, to evenings in base camp with a cup of tea.

Expedition-grade insulation

The outer shell is made of polyamide 6.6 and the inner shell is made of Airtastic SLF15 DWR – a hydrophobic, abrasion-resistant fabric that provides comfort and durability. This combination makes the gloves light, windproof and slow to absorb moisture.

Inside, Pajak uses 900 cuin goose down (RDS certified) – light, compressible and exceptionally resistant. It is distributed in H-shaped baffles that keep the down evenly distributed and eliminate the risk of cold spots.

In the palm area, they used synthetic insulation and waterproof fabric instead of down – materials that handle pressure and snow contact better. This allows you to grip poles, ropes or carabiners with confidence and keep the warmth consistent all day long.

Pajak has reinforced the thumbs and fingertips, as these are the areas that wear out the fastest. This means you can grip a zip, rope or carabiner without worrying about abrasion. Adjustable cuffs keep snow out, and the wrist strap allows you to take the gloves off in the field without the risk of losing them. On the top, near the fingers, they’ve added a loop to attach the mittens to your harness or backpack. And on the thumb, you’ll find a soft handkerchief – for wiping your nose or goggles (but to be clear, not both at the same time).

Packable and adjustable

Each pair comes with a 1-liter compression bag. Roll up the mittens, pack them, and easily store them in your backpack. Pajak has made them in three sizes – S, M, and L – so you can find the right fit and be sure they’ll stay comfortable in the field.

The Sherpa Mitts 2.0 are made in Poland, using only RDS-certified down. Pajak also supports EOCA, as we want the places you use their gear to remain wild and clean.
