SiS Hydro Lemon is a practical electrolyte tablet for running, cycling, cross-country skiing, gym training, hiking and other activities where the body loses fluid and salts through sweat.
When you sweat, you lose primarily sodium, but also potassium, calcium, magnesium and chloride. Each SiS Hydro tablet contains approximately 345 mg sodium, 269 mg chloride, 65 mg potassium, 102 mg calcium and 8.1 mg magnesium . Together, this equates to approximately 789 mg of electrolytes per serving.
The product also contains vitamins B1, B2 and B6 . SiS describes B1 and B2 as vitamins that support energy metabolism, while B6 contributes to normal protein metabolism.
The fresh lemon flavor makes plain water easier to drink during hot workouts and longer activities. Since the drink contains very little energy, it can be combined with energy gels, chews, bars or other sports nutrition without the liquid automatically adding a large amount of carbohydrates.
One tube contains 20 effervescent tablets , which corresponds to 20 servings of 500 ml and a total of up to 10 liters of finished drink.

SiS describes a plan where the electrolyte drink can be used in the hours before a longer or demanding workout. The amount of fluid that is appropriate depends on activity, temperature, body size and individual sweat loss.
Avoid drinking unnecessarily large amounts in a short period of time. The fluid plan should be adapted to personal needs and prevailing conditions.
SiS Hydro can be used for example:
Running and trail running
Cycling and mountain biking
Cross-country skiing
Gym and indoor training
Hiking and outdoor activities
Training in hot weather
For shorter sessions where carbohydrates are not necessary, SiS states around 500 ml of ready-made Hydro drink per hour of training as a possible guideline. Individual needs may be both lower and higher.
After a sweaty workout, SiS Hydro can be used together with sufficient fluids, regular food and, if necessary, a separate recovery product.
The product provides electrolytes but does not contain significant amounts of carbohydrates or protein, so it is not a complete recovery drink on its own.
Running and long workouts
Trail running and ultra running
Road cycling and mountain biking
Triathlon
Cross-country skiing
Vasaloppet and other long-distance races
Gym and indoor training
Hiking and active days
Training in hot and humid weather
People who sweat a lot
Activities where carbohydrates are taken separately
Exercise late in the day as the product is caffeine-free
SiS Hydro is primarily an electrolyte product and not a traditional carbohydrate-rich sports drink. One tablet provides less than one gram of carbohydrates and only around 7–9 kcal.
This makes the product useful when you:
Want to add electrolytes to plain water
Want to control carbohydrate intake separately
Uses gels, bars or chews as an energy source
Perform a shorter workout where extra energy is not needed
Want a flavored drink with low energy content?
Want to use the same drink before, during and after activity
SiS Hydro Tablets:
Approximately 789 mg of electrolytes per serving
Very small amount of carbohydrates
About 7–9 kcal
One tablet in 500 ml of water
Suitable when energy is taken separately
SiS GO Electrolyte Powder:
Contains both carbohydrates and electrolytes
Contributes to energy intake during activity
Mix as powder in water
Suitable when the drink is part of the carbohydrate plan
SiS states that a serving of GO Electrolyte Powder contains around 36g of carbohydrates, while the Hydro tablets are mainly intended for fluid and electrolytes.
SiS Hydro Lemon is caffeine-free and can be used when you want to control your caffeine intake separately.
SiS Hydro + Caffeine contains caffeine and is better suited when you specifically want to combine electrolytes with a caffeine supplement.
The caffeine-free Lemon variant is particularly suitable when you:
Exercises in the evening
Are sensitive to caffeine
Already using caffeine gels
Want to use the drink regularly
Don't want the hydration plan to automatically affect caffeine intake
Electrolyte and fluid needs vary between individuals. Temperature, humidity, exercise intensity, duration of activity, and individual sweat rate affect how much fluid and sodium needs to be replaced.
People who have been advised to limit their salt intake should follow their healthcare provider's recommendations before using a sodium-rich electrolyte product regularly.
Electrolyte tablets should not be used as a treatment for illness, severe dehydration, or heat-related conditions.
