REAL Field Meal Beef Stew is a freeze-dried beef stew with rice, beef, mushrooms and vegetables. Bell peppers, tomatoes, onions and spices complement the meat and mushrooms for a warm meal for hiking, ski touring and camping.

Each serving provides 650 kcal and is cooked directly in the bag with 3.7 dl of hot water . Stir, seal the bag and let stand for about 8 minutes . You don't have to cook rice and stew separately and can eat straight from the package.

Cooking

Open the bag at the top tear mark.

Add 3.7 dl of hot water, 70–100 °C , up to the fill line.

Stir thoroughly so that all the contents are mixed with the water.

Close the zip lock and let stand for 8 minutes .

Adjust consistency with more water if needed. Open at the bottom tear mark for easier eating straight from the bag.
