the OMM Core Tights – Ultralight insulating tights for active use

The OMM Core Tights are a groundbreaking layer in active insulation , developed for cold, demanding conditions where weight, moisture transport and temperature regulation are essential. The tights are part of OMM's Core Range and are made entirely from PrimaLoft® ACTIVE 75 g/m² – an ultra-lightweight insulating fabric that provides the warmth of fleece but with less than half the weight and pack volume.

Combined with a shell pant, the Core Tights create an extremely effective insulation system. The open structure of PrimaLoft® ACTIVE lets excess heat through as the intensity increases, making them perfect for everything from winter running and cross-country skiing to mountain and alpine adventures . When you stop or cover with a shell, the heat is quickly trapped again.

Unlike traditional insulation, Core Tights work equally well in wet or dry conditions . The synthetic material wicks away moisture effectively and continues to insulate even when wet – a crucial advantage on long, exposed rides. Stretch panels in durable Flexile nylon above the knees provide extra protection from wind and light moisture, while maintaining mobility.
