The OMM Core Fleece Ms Jacket is an ultra-light and breathable midlayer for running, fastpacking, hiking and intense mountain adventures. PrimaLoft® ACTIVE provides effective synthetic insulation with very low weight and pack volume, while the open construction helps the body release excess heat.

Weighing only around 195 grams and featuring a full-length zipper, warming hand pockets and a soft collar, the jacket works equally well as an active mid-layer under a shell or as a breezy outer layer for higher intensity runs.

PrimaLoft® ACTIVE 125 g/m²

The insulation is made from synthetic PrimaLoft® fibers woven into an open mesh material. The construction creates insulating air pockets without the extra layers of fabric typically used in lined garments. The result is a warm and very lightweight midlayer that takes up little space in your running vest or backpack.

The material continues to insulate when damp and effectively wicks sweat away from the body, making the Core Fleece Jacket particularly useful during long activities in variable weather.

Adaptive warmth during activity

The highly breathable construction allows you to regulate your temperature using the outer layer. Under a windbreaker or shell jacket, the air is trapped and the insulation provides significantly more warmth. When you get hot, you can open or remove the shell to quickly release excess heat.

However, the jacket provides very little wind protection when used as an outer layer, so in cold or windy weather it should be combined with a windbreaker or shell jacket.

Developed for movement

Flatlock seams are positioned away from the shoulders to reduce the risk of chafing when wearing a running vest or backpack. The full-length zipper provides additional ventilation control, while handwarmer pockets provide convenient storage and extra comfort.

Care instructions

Always follow the washing instructions on the garment label. Wash with a mild detergent intended for functional materials and avoid fabric softener, as this can impair the material's moisture-wicking properties. Allow the garment to air dry and store it dry.

The OMM Core Fleece Jacket is a body-hugging midlayer in men's/unisex sizes. The jacket is designed to be worn over a light base layer and under a windbreaker or shell jacket. Use the chart below to find the right size based on your body measurements.

How is the OMM Core Fleece Jacket sized?

The model has OMM Fitted Fit , which means a relatively slim and body-hugging fit. The jacket should sit close to the body to function effectively as a technical midlayer, but at the same time allow room for a thin base layer.

The fit is not as roomy as a traditional fleece jacket, but the garment should not be tight across the chest, waist or shoulders when the zipper is closed.

Our size recommendation

• Choose your normal size for a technical and body-hugging fit.
• Start primarily from your chest circumference.
• If your bust and waist correspond to different sizes, we recommend the larger size.
• If you are between two sizes, the larger size is usually the safer choice.
• Go up a size if you want to wear a thicker layer under the jacket.
• Also choose a larger size if you prefer a slightly looser fit or usually find that OMM garments fit narrowly.
• Body length is primarily a guide for sleeve and garment length. Let chest circumference guide whether measurements correspond to different sizes.

How to measure your body

Measure directly against the body or over a thin undergarment. Hold the measuring tape horizontally and let it lie close to the body without pulling it tight.

Chest circumference

Measure around the widest part of your chest, under your arms and above your shoulder blades. Let your arms hang loosely at your sides.

Waist circumference

Measure around your natural waist, usually where your upper body is at its narrowest. Do not tighten your stomach or pull the tape measure tight.

Body length

Measure your height without shoes, from the floor to the highest point of your head.

Check the fit

The right size means that:

• the jacket can be closed without the zipper or material being taut,
• you can move your arms forward and over your head without any obvious restriction,
• there is room for a thin undergarment,
• the jacket is not tight across the chest, shoulders or waist,
• the hem does not pull up abnormally when you move,
• a windbreaker or shell jacket can be worn over it without the midlayer folding or being compressed.

The Core material is highly breathable and therefore works best with a windbreaker or shell garment when you need to stay warm.
