The OMM Core Fleece Womens Jacket is an ultra-lightweight and breathable midlayer with a women-specific fit. PrimaLoft® ACTIVE provides effective synthetic insulation with very low weight and pack volume – ideal for trail running, fastpacking, hiking and intense mountain adventures.

Weighing only around 175 grams and featuring a full-length zip, handwarmer pockets and a soft collar, the jacket can be worn as a breathable outer layer for high activity or under a windbreaker or shell jacket when you need more warmth.

PrimaLoft® ACTIVE 125 g/m²

PrimaLoft® fibers are woven together with an open mesh material that creates insulating air pockets without multiple heavy layers of fabric. The construction provides warmth with significantly less weight and pack volume than traditional fleece.

The material continues to insulate when it gets damp and effectively wicks away sweat, making the jacket particularly useful during long activities where weather and intensity vary.

Customizable insulation for activity

The open construction has very high air permeability. When worn under a windbreaker or shell, the jacket traps warm air and the insulation becomes significantly more effective. If you get too hot, you can open or remove the outer layer to quickly release excess heat.

The Core Fleece Jacket, however, provides very little wind protection when worn as an outer layer, so in cold or windy weather it should be combined with a windbreaker or shell jacket.

Women's specific fit and low weight

The body-hugging fit reduces unnecessary bulk and allows the jacket to seamlessly transition between a base layer and an outer layer. Flatlock seams are positioned away from the shoulders to reduce the risk of chafing when wearing a running vest or backpack.

The full-length zipper makes it easy to put on and take off and provides additional options for regulating the temperature.

Fit and size

The OMM Core Fleece Womens Jacket has an OMM fitted fit and should sit relatively close to the body over a base layer. Choose your usual size for a technical fit. If you are between sizes or want more room, the larger size is recommended.

Care instructions

Always follow the washing instructions on the garment label. Turn the jacket inside out and close the zipper before washing. Avoid washing it with garments that have Velcro fasteners, as these can damage the open material. Do not use fabric softener.

The OMM Core Fleece Jacket (W) is a body-hugging midlayer with a women's specific fit. The jacket is designed to be worn over a thin base layer and under a wind or shell jacket. Use the chart below to find the right size based on your body measurements.

How is the OMM Core Fleece Jacket (W) sized?

The model has an OMM Fitted Fit , which means a relatively slim and body-hugging fit. It should sit close to the body to function effectively as a technical midlayer, but at the same time allow space for a thin base layer.

The jacket is not intended to have a loose or loose fleece fit. However, it should not be tight across the bust, shoulders or hips when the zipper is closed.

Our size recommendation

• Choose your normal size for a technical and body-hugging fit.
• Start primarily from your bust measurement.
• If bust and hip correspond to different sizes, we recommend the larger size.
• If you are between two sizes, the larger size is usually the safer choice.
• Go up a size if you want to wear a thicker base layer under the jacket.
• Also choose a larger size if you prefer a slightly looser fit or often find that OMM women's clothing fits too tight.
• Do not choose a larger size based solely on body length if your bust and hip measurements clearly correspond to a smaller size.

How to measure your body

Measure directly against the body or over a thin undergarment. Hold the measuring tape horizontally and let it lie close to the body without pulling it tight.

Bust size

Measure around the fullest part of the bust and over the shoulder blades. Let your arms hang loosely at your sides.

Hip circumference

Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Stand with your feet about hip-width apart.

Body length

Measure your height without shoes, from the floor to the highest point of your head.

Check the fit

The right size means that:

• the jacket can be closed without the zipper or material being taut,
• you can move your arms forward and over your head without any obvious restriction,
• there is room for a thin undergarment,
• the jacket is not tight across the bust, shoulders or hips,
• the hem does not pull up abnormally when you move,
• a windbreaker or shell jacket can be worn over it without the midlayer folding or being compressed.

The Core material is highly breathable and therefore works best with a windbreaker or shell garment when you need to stay warm.
