Samaya ULTRA60 is Samaya's most voluminous, radical and minimalist alpine backpack , designed for winter tours, expeditions and alpine projects where both packing volume and low weight are crucial. With a base volume of 60 liters that can be expanded by an additional 15 liters via roll-top , the ULTRA60 holds all the equipment required for long attacks and demanding conditions - while keeping the weight around 560-565 grams in the basic version .

The backpack is constructed from Dyneema® Composite Fabric Hybrid (150D PES) , where a durable woven outer layer is combined with a Dyneema® laminate on the inside for full waterproofness and high mechanical strength . All seams are 100% taped , giving a waterproof rating of approximately 20,000 mm and ensuring that your gear stays dry in snow, ice and persistent rainfall.

For maximum durability in harsh environments , the base is made of 300D Woven Dyneema® , Samaya's most robust material to date. Areas exposed to heavy wear, such as the ice axe blade, are reinforced with 1000D Cordura® . The rigid material construction also means that the backpack retains its shape and is comfortable to carry regardless of the filling level.

The ULTRA60 has a modular design with removable accessories, allowing you to adjust the weight to the nature of the trip. It is equipped with an aluminum frame and 5 mm PE back panel with EVA padding , padded shoulder straps (EVA) and adjustable waist belt and sternum strap for stable carrying comfort even with heavy loads. Removable systems include mounts for skis, snowboards, ice axes and helmets , as well as compression straps for secure load control.

Practical details include a zippered pocket on the top lid and an interior zippered pocket for smaller gear. The backpack is also suitable for longer winter trips and sledding expeditions , with attachments that allow for efficient transport on long approaches.
