The Exped Lightning 60 Wmns is an ultra-lightweight and technically advanced hiking backpack for women , developed for multi-day trips where low weight and high carrying comfort are crucial . With a pack volume of 60 liters, the backpack offers plenty of space for longer adventures, while maintaining a streamlined, efficient and well-balanced design.

The women's specific design means a custom fit for the female anatomy , with narrower shoulder straps, a shorter hip belt and an adjustable back length that makes it easy to find a personal and stable carrying position.

Innovative carrying system with high ventilation

The Lightning 60 Wmns is equipped with Exped's T-Rex back system , which uses an adjustable aluminum frame with few contact points to the back . This provides efficient ventilation, great freedom of movement and a smooth transfer of power to the hip belt - even with heavier packs. The back length can be finely adjusted for a precise fit, contributing to stable and comfortable walking during long days on the trail.

Flexible packing and smart access

The backpack is top-loading with a roll closure , making it easy to adjust the volume to suit your pack size and quickly access your gear. A well-thought-out compression system with zig-zag straps lets you stabilize your load and attach bulky gear like a sleeping pad or tent.

Storage is provided in the form of stretchy side pockets , pockets on the hip belt for small items, and an internal zippered pocket for valuables or a map. Multiple attachment points and loops make the backpack well suited for trekking poles and ice axes.
