The VJ MAXx2 is a versatile, well-cushioned and fast running shoe for changing terrain.

The shoe features VJ's new SuperFOAMance midsole, which is made of high-tech and ultra-light nitrogen-infused material that offers extreme cushioning and energy return. This new foam is a modern, supercritical foam that is lighter, more responsive, more comfortable and more propulsive than a traditional EVA foam. Compared to other foams, SuperFOAMance is more durable and does not wear as easily.

The midsole is finished with a full-length rock plate that protects the runner's feet from sharp edges, branches and roots. The rock plate also makes the shoe torsionally rigid and increases energy efficiency.

The MAXx2 features VJ's famous Superior Contact outsole made from their proprietary butyl rubber compound, which offers the best grip on the planet on any terrain.

The upper is light, airy and durable in one piece. The last is shaped like a foot, which together with the upper provides maximum comfort and performance.

VJ's innovative Fitlock system offers an optimal fit for the shoe by locking the foot from the arch. It also provides extra protection by protecting the arch of the foot from the impacts the foot encounters during running.

Size: Compared to the MAXx, the MAXx2 is slightly larger.
