The Sea To Summit Lightweight Dry Bag 1.5 L is a compact and lightweight dry bag that protects smaller equipment from rain, splashes and moisture. The volume is good for, for example, a headlamp, gloves, hygiene items, first aid equipment or other small items that you want to keep organized in your backpack.

The pack weighs only 34 grams and is made from durable, recycled 70D nylon. The soft and flexible material makes the bag easy to pack into small spaces while hiking, paddling, cycling, skiing and traveling.

Waterproof construction with taped seams

The material has a water column of 10,000 mm, while double-stitched and fully taped seams prevent water from penetrating the construction. The non-absorbent Hypalon roll-top closure is secured with a 15 mm Field Repair buckle.

To create a reliable seal, the opening should be rolled at least three times before closing the buckle. The bag itself is waterproof, but it should not be submerged in water as liquid can penetrate through the roll closure.

Recycled 70D nylon

The outer fabric is made of bluesign® APPROVED recycled 70D nylon with a PFAS-free DWR water-repellent treatment. The white PU coating on the inside reflects light and makes it easier to find small objects, even in poor lighting conditions.

The oval bottom shape provides efficient packing and reduces the risk of the bag rolling away on sloping surfaces. There is also a D-ring at the buckle that can be used to attach the bag to, for example, a backpack, bike or kayak.

Use

Pack the bag without overfilling it, leaving enough space to roll the opening at least three full turns. Press out any excess air, roll the opening down, and snap the buckle shut.

The bag protects against rain, splashes and occasional wetness but is not designed for prolonged or complete immersion. Be careful with sharp objects and abrasive surfaces that can damage the material.

Care instructions

Rinse or dry the stuff sack after use, especially if it has been exposed to salt water, sand or dirt. Allow it to dry completely with the opening unrolled before storing. Avoid harsh detergents, washing machines and direct heat.
