The Sea To Summit Air Stream Dry Sack Pump combines an efficient sleeping pad pump with a lightweight, seam-sealed 20-liter dry bag. During the day, it can be used to organize and protect clothing or a sleeping bag inside your backpack. At night, the integrated connector connects to the sleeping pad valve and is used for quick inflation.
The Pumpåsen weighs only 48 grams and is made of thin 15D Ultra-Sil Nano fabric. The low weight and dual function make it especially useful for hiking, bikepacking and other trips where the equipment needs to fulfill more than one function.
Inflating a sleeping pad directly with your mouth can add moisture from exhaled air. With Air Stream, the sleeping pad is instead filled with ambient air, reducing the amount of condensation that is introduced into the pad.
The large volume means that most Sea to Summit Air Sprung Cell sleeping pads can be inflated with only two to three fills of the pump. Self-inflating Sea to Summit sleeping pads can be quickly topped up to the desired firmness.
The pump ridge also reduces the need for repeated, forceful exhalations, which can be nice after a long day in the mountains.
The low-profile connector is designed for the multi-function valve on Sea to Summit sleeping pads. It fits both the brand's Air Sprung Cell models and self-inflating sleeping pads.
Compatibility with sleeping pads from other manufacturers cannot be guaranteed, as the shape and diameter of the valves vary between brands.
When the pump function is not in use, the Air Stream functions as a spacious dry bag for storage inside the backpack. The 20-liter volume provides space for, for example, a sleeping bag, reinforcement clothing or a change of clothes.
The bag is fully seam sealed and has an integrated valve connector with closure. The thin material is primarily intended for lightweight, protected storage inside a backpack. It should not be used for prolonged immersion, paddling where the bag is subject to heavy wear and tear, or as a stand-alone waterproof pack bag outside of a backpack.
Connect the pump ridge connector to the multi-function valve of the sleeping pad. Open the bag and capture ambient air by passing the opening through the air or gently blowing into the opening without placing your mouth directly against it.
Close the roll opening and then press the air from the bag into the mattress. Repeat until the mattress is at the desired firmness. For an Air Sprung Cell mattress, two to three passes are usually required.
Disconnect the pump ridge when the sleeping pad is fully filled and close the valve according to the sleeping pad's instructions.

Wipe or rinse the pump ridge with clean water as needed. Use a mild detergent if dirty and avoid harsh chemicals, machine washing and tumble drying.
Allow the bag to air dry completely with the opening unfolded before packing away. Regularly check the seams, material and valve connection. Protect the thin 15D material from sharp objects and hard, abrasive surfaces.
