The Sea To Summit Air Sprung Cell Mat Repair Kit is a compact repair kit for punctures and minor damage to Sea to Summit Air Sprung Cell sleeping mats. Self-adhesive 3M repair patches allow for minor punctures to be repaired without the need for separate adhesive, while the included silicone membranes can replace damaged parts of the sleeping mat's one-way valve.
The kit weighs only 10 grams including packaging and takes up very little space in the repair bag. It is a practical spare kit to carry with you when hiking, camping, bikepacking and longer trips where a puncture could otherwise ruin your night's sleep.
The adhesive on the repair patches is specially designed for the outer material of Sea to Summit's Air Sprung Cell sleeping pads. The patches have a peel-and-stick construction: remove the protective film, place the patch over the damage and press it firmly into place.
The kit contains both round and square patches in different sizes. The smaller round patches are suitable for pinholes and small punctures, while the larger square patches cover larger damages.
No separate glue needs to be applied and no tube of silicone glue is included.
In addition to repair patches, the kit includes two replacement silicone membranes for the one-way valve on Sea to Summit's Air Sprung Cell sleeping pads. The membrane helps prevent air from leaking back out while the pad is inflating.
The replacement membranes are for Air Sprung Cell valves only. They will not fit the valves on Sea to Summit self-inflating sleeping pads.
The repair kit is primarily designed for Sea to Summit inflatable sleeping pads with Air Sprung Cell construction. Both the repair patches and replacement membranes can be used on these models.

The patches do not form a reliable airtight seal on the knitted top of the Comfort Plus Self Inflating Mat or Comfort Deluxe Self Inflating Mat. Compatibility with these and other self-inflating models should be checked before use.
Please note that the included valve membranes do not fit any self-inflating sleeping mat.
Inflate the sleeping pad and locate the leak. If the hole is difficult to find, apply soapy water to a limited area and look for air bubbles. Avoid completely submerging an insulated sleeping pad in water.
Mark the damage and then deflate the mattress. Clean the area thoroughly and allow the material to dry completely. Dirt, grease and moisture can impair the adhesion of the patch.
Choose a patch that covers the damage with a good margin. Remove the protective film without touching the adhesive surface, place the patch over the hole and press it firmly from the center outwards. Follow the instructions on the packaging before inflating and loading the sleeping pad again.
The kit is intended for minor punctures and surface damage. In the event of damaged welds, large tears or problems with the valve attachment itself, the mattress should be assessed by the retailer or manufacturer.

Store the kit dry and protected from dirt, direct sunlight and strong heat. Leave the repair patches in their original packaging until ready to use, so that the adhesive surfaces are not damaged or contaminated.
Check the repair kit before longer trips and replace worn or aged components.
