The Sea To Summit Eco Camp Mat Selfinflate Regular is a comfortable and durable self-inflating sleeping pad for hiking, camping and overnight stays in the wild. The combination of 3.8 centimeters thickness, insulating PU foam and an R-value of 4.2 makes the mat a versatile option for three-season use.
The Regular model measures 183 × 51 centimeters and weighs approximately 780 grams. It is suitable for those who want more support and insulation than a simple foam pad while keeping weight and packing volume down.
The interior is constructed with Sea to Summit's Delta Core-V™ technology. Triangular, vertical channels remove portions of the PU foam to reduce the weight and pack size of the base.
The cores are smaller at the shoulders, hips and feet, where the body needs more support and insulation. In less stressed areas, larger cutouts are used to save additional weight without removing all the load-bearing foam.
The R-value indicates how well the sleeping pad prevents heat loss to the ground – a higher value means better insulation. With an R-value of 4.2, Camp Mat is suitable for use during spring, summer and autumn, as well as milder conditions around freezing point.
Actual sleeping comfort is also affected by factors such as temperature, ground conditions, sleeping bag, clothing and individual cold tolerance. For winter trips and severe cold, a warmer base or a supplementary foam base may be needed.
When the valve is opened, the foam core expands and automatically draws air in. After self-inflating, you can take a few breaths and fine-tune the pressure to achieve the desired firmness.
The multi-function valve has high air flow and separate functions for inflation, pressure adjustment and quick deflation. When rolled up, the valve's deflation position prevents the base from sucking in new air.
The top and bottom are made of robust 75D polyester with extruded and laminated TPU. The construction provides a durable and airtight surface that is suitable for both tent camping and shorter trips where the equipment needs to withstand repeated use.
A repair kit is included for simple repairs during the trip.

Unroll the sleeping pad and open the valve. Let the foam core expand and draw air in. Then blow air in manually if necessary and use the fine adjustment to adjust the firmness.
The first time the mat is used, or after a long period of rolled-up storage, self-inflation may take longer.
Wipe the base with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow to dry completely before packing away. For long-term storage, the base should be stored unrolled with the valve open, for example flat under a bed. This helps the foam to retain its ability to expand.
Avoid sharp objects, open flames and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Always check the ground before laying the underlay.
