Rex TapeGrip is the best valance tape on the market. One package holds 4-5 pairs of skis, lasts up to 250 km. For maximum grip, (or for stiff skis), you can apply a shorter layer in the middle of the grip zone first, then a full-length layer.

Tip: If your skis are too stiff, you can apply a shorter double layer in the middle of the grip area.

Roughen the grip area with the sandpaper included in the package.
Pull the grip tape over the grip area and cut off.
Press the tape to the bottom with the spatula included in the package.
Remove the protective paper before skiing. You can save it as a protection for the valance until you are on the slopes.
After skiing, you can put the protective paper back on the grip surface.
