The Ortovox Rescue Set Diract brings together three essential pieces for buddy rescue in avalanche terrain: the DIRACT avalanche transmitter, the ALU 240 avalanche probe and the BADGER avalanche shovel. A practical package for those who go mountaineering, freeskiing or exploring the mountains on a splitboard.

The combination gives you the equipment to search for a buried person's avalanche transceiver, pinpoint the position with the probe, and begin digging.

DIRACT – digital avalanche transmitter with three antennas

DIRACT shows direction and distance on the display to guide you during the search. The group check helps you check your fellow hikers' transmitters before setting off, while the marking function makes it easier to continue searching when several people are buried.

The avalanche transceiver features Smart Antenna Technology and automatic return to transmit mode. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery is charged via USB-C, and the software can be updated via the Ortovox app. A carrying system with RECCO® reflector is included.

ALU 240 – avalanche probe with quick assembly

The ALU 240 is a 240 cm long aluminum probe with seven sections. The Quick Lock system and tensioning with aramid rope allow the probe to be quickly assembled and locked.

Depth markings make it easier to read when probing. When folded, the probe is 37.5 cm long and takes up limited space in the avalanche equipment compartment of the backpack.

BADGER – aluminum shovel with stable blade

BADGER has an aluminum blade with high side edges and a marked center spine that reinforces the construction. The blade volume is 2.5 liters.

The hybrid handle provides multiple grip options, and the ridges on the top of the blade provide foot support when digging. The shaft is designed for quick assembly.
