Apply Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® by hand...

For best results, always clean the item first. No need to dry the object before impregnation.

 Protect the work surface and lay the clean damp object flat, or set up a tent.

 Spray evenly on the outside of the fabric. Avoid backpack straps.

 Wait for 2 minutes. Remove any excess with a damp cloth.

 Check carefully to ensure no areas have been missed.

Use approximately 50 ml of product per 1 m2 of fabric.

The measurement is approximate and depends on the condition of the fabric being treated.

To maintain waterproofing and UV protection, always clean with Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash®. Do not use conventional cleaning agents.

Use Nikwax Cotton Proof to impregnate cotton, polycotton and canvas fabrics.

DWR and ultraviolet (UV) protection will develop when the fabric is dry. Allow the item to dry completely before packing away.
