Hestra's warmest glove is designed for expeditions in arctic environments and harsh winter weather. It has an extra robust exterior in Army Leather goatskin and softshell fabric, and the palm is reinforced with kangaroo leather to withstand prolonged wear from ropes and equipment.

Two removable linings contribute to maximum and adaptable warmth. Inside the outer glove is a fleece thumb lining with G-loft synthetic filling that insulates and conducts moisture. Closest to the hand is a 3-finger lining in ripstop polyamide with Primaloft Gold synthetic filling. It is slightly reinforced in the palm to also function as a light warming glove in a tent or base camp, when you are tinkering and resting after the day's exertions. With two separate linings, the glove is also easier to dry and wash.

The model has a large collar that keeps snow and cold out. The snow lock is easily adjusted with one hand and the width around the wrist is also adjusted with a one-handed grip. Hestra handcuffs (wrist strap) reduce the risk of you losing your glove on the mountain.

The Army Leather Expedition Mitt is a favorite among alpine climbers, ski climbers and outdoor professionals who spend long days outside in the bitter cold.
