The G3 ION is a binding for ski touring and summit touring with several unique features that provide performance, ease of use and low weight. The binding has optimized elasticity, the suspension in the toe part seems to contract and the pressure on the pins increases, e.g. when folded back. Step-In guidance for the boot in the correct position in the step and the Snow Clearing Channel makes it possible to clear away snow and ice formation with the pole tip.
Forward Pressure with a spring on the back provides constant pretension like a traditional alpine binding. Vibrations are absorbed and provide improved performance and safety while keeping the specified preload constant while riding. The rear part can be rotated in both directions, regardless of left or right hand grip. Heel raiser with intuitive function in three height levels.
Wide Freeride Mount provides an attachment distance that is 33% greater between the screws, which improves the power transmission and torsional stiffness of the binding. ION is produced in Vancouver, Canada.

Forward Pressure
A spring on the back provides constant preload like a traditional alpine binding. Vibrations are absorbed and provide improved performance and safety while keeping the specified preload constant while riding. The rear part can be rotated in both directions, regardless of left or right hand grip.
Wide Freeride Mount
The mount provides an attachment distance that is 33% greater between the screws, which improves the power transmission and torsional stiffness of the binding.
