The ski is built with a core of solid poplar, which is lightweight with good flex and damping properties. The solid wood core in combination with Carbon Speed Stringers - strings of carbon fiber - provides stability and torsional rigidity, enclosed in a durable sandwich construction with straight, durable side edges of ABS.

The waist measurement varies depending on length and is excellent for changing surfaces and mixed snow conditions. The side cut is optimized for each unique length and provides proportional properties with an effective riding surface and turning radius. The ski has a weak rocker in both the tip and tail with a traditional span under the foot. The low weight makes it ideal even for longer top tours.

Full Sidewall

Impact-resistant ABS along the entire edge of the ski provides maximum absorption of force. A design principle that minimizes the use of material in the sidewall - lower height with increased width along the length of the ski, increased torsional stiffness and edge pressure. For advanced skiing and mountaineering, this means maximum precision in edge control.

CarbonSpeed Stringers

Dynafit uses carbon fiber strings to dampen vibrations and provide optimal rebound properties. The ski retains the forgiving properties that are important in difficult terrain.
