Built on the experience of 40 years of pin binding, the Ridge solves all the problems that touring enthusiasts face on the mountain: Using the patented Easy-Turn-Tech heel unit, the Ridge is the only turbine binding on the market that allows a completely easy rotation from climbing to descending.

The step couldn't be easier and thanks to the intelligent construction method, it works without a glance. With the wide tension fork and Step-In Side Towers, the rider can step into the binding precisely. The front titanal toe stopper stops the boot at the level of the studs, thus placing it in an ideal position to click into the binding. The proven Ice Breaker Pins keep snow and ice away from the cuts. In addition, the toe piece is built so that any ice and snow is dislodged and pushed out when you step in. This means that nothing gets in the way and you are immediately ready to go.

On the downhill, this lightweight premium binding wins points with strong performance and excellent power transfer to the ski. Safety and reliability are of course always top priority: Lateral and vertical release values can be adjusted from DIN 4 to 12. A forward pressure of 7 mm ensures that the release value remains constant and precise even with ski bending.

When it comes to ease of use, the Ridge is in a league of its own, which is evidenced by many extra details and functions: The patented brake has been developed so that it will never release accidentally. The brakes engage in climb mode with your first step into the binding and automatically engage in descent mode.

The eccentric on the toe piece and the riser on the back are designed to be easily reached with the ski pole. The second riser automatically moves into position as soon as the first is folded down, making it even more convenient to access. For hard-packed snow and icy conditions, the Ridge binding can be used with cutting irons. Here, too, the developers worked to add more comfort. The new joining irons with the so-called "Quick-in Achse" can be easily mounted both from the side and directly from the top. Especially in challenging terrain, mounting from the top works both faster and easier. As with all Ddynafit bindings, Ridge is developed in Germany and manufactured in Europe.
