The Mezzalama is a pure Skimo model with a solidly built sandwich construction that provides stable performance in combination with low weight. This model is developed for both competition and training and is perfectly suited for the Grand Course races as well as the Kebnekaise Classic.
The ski has been designed with a wider blade, a longer tip rocker and a shorter radius, which makes the ski more forgiving and saves energy on the descent. The core Paulownia Speed Core optimizes the properties in combination with fiberglass and carbon fiber strips, Carbon Speed Stringers. The surface is prepared to provide the best possible glide.

Paulownia Speed Core
Core of laminated Paulownia, a wood of the highest quality, provides an optimal synergy between lightness and solidity. A softer twist provides forgiving characteristics. The core is specially designed for race and speed touring.
Sidewall Cap Construction
Impact-resistant ABS along the entire edge of the ski provides maximum absorption of the force. A construction principle that minimizes the use of material in the sidewall - lower height with increased width along the length of the ski, increased torsional stiffness and edge pressure. In advanced skiing and rock climbing, this means maximum precision in edge control.
Carbon Speed Strings
Dynafit uses strings of carbon fiber for vibration damping and it provides optimal rebound properties. The ski retains the forgiving characteristics that are important in difficult terrain.
