Cocoon TravelSheet Silk is an ultra-light and spacious travel sheet made of 100 percent silk. It is suitable for hotels, hostels, mountain cabins and train travel, but can also be used as a sleeping bag liner or as a thin sleeping layer in warm climates.
TravelSheet Silk measures 220 × 90 centimeters and weighs only about 160 grams. The rectangular shape provides more freedom of movement than a mummy-shaped liner, while the silk material makes the travel sheet very compact when packed.
Silk feels soft and comfortable against the skin. The material breathes and adapts well to changing temperatures – it can feel cool on hot, humid nights and provide a pleasant warmth boost when used inside a sleeping bag.
The low weight and pack size make TravelSheet Silk particularly useful for trips and hikes where you want to carry your own hygienic sleeping layer without filling your backpack with a heavier cotton sheet.
The TravelSheet model is 90 centimeters wide and provides plenty of space to change sleeping positions. It is therefore suitable for those who find a mummy-shaped sleeping bag liner restrictive or who primarily want to use the product as a travel sheet.
A long side opening makes it easier to get in and out of the sheet. The opening is held together with a Velcro tab and lacks a heavy zipper, which contributes to the low weight.
At the head end there is a practical pocket where a pillow can be pushed in. The pillow pocket helps to keep the pillow in place and at the same time creates a hygienic layer between the face and a pillow in, for example, a hotel, hostel or mountain cabin.
Reinforced gussets and double stitching increase durability in areas that are exposed to more stress when you move or get in and out of the sheet.
When used as a liner, TravelSheet Silk helps protect the sleeping bag's inner fabric from sweat, skin oils and dirt. It can reduce the need to wash the entire sleeping bag, thereby helping to preserve the insulation properties of the filling.
According to Cocoon, the silk liner can increase the thermal insulation of the sleeping system by up to approximately 5.3 °C. This is a laboratory-based guideline and not a new temperature rating for the sleeping bag. The actual thermal gain is affected by factors such as fit, clothing, sleeping pad and individual cold tolerance.

Air the travel sheet after use and let it dry completely before placing it in the storage bag. Avoid contact with Velcro, open zippers and other details that can get caught in the thin silk fabric.
Hand wash or machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Cocoon recommends a detergent suitable for silk, such as Cocoon Silk Wash.
Wash separately and do not use bleach or stain removers. Do not wring out the material. Drip dry or tumble dry on low heat if the care label allows. Always follow the care instructions on the product.
