The book consists of two parts: first a comprehensive guide with all the knowledge you need to plan and carry out a winter trip between mountain huts, then a guide to our finest mountain areas with fifteen ready-made tour suggestions that suit both beginners and experienced skiers.

The author Oskar Karlin is a passionate outdoorsman and cartographer who has visited almost all the mountain huts in Sweden. In this book he summarizes his experiences from thirty years of skiing. He has previously written Vegetarian Mountain Food (Calazo, 2022).
