Calazo Dalafjällen & Trysil 1:100,000 is a durable mountain map that extends from Rogen in the north to Transtrandsfjällen and the Sälen area in the south. The map provides a clear overview of large parts of Dalafjällen and neighboring mountain areas in Härjedalen and Norway.

The map includes, among other things, Grövelsjön, Idre, Särna, Lofsdalen, Vedungsfjällen, Fulufjället, Sälen and Rörbäcksnäs. The national parks Töfsingdalen, Sonfjället and Fulufjället are also included.

Mountain map for longer tours

The scale of 1:100,000 means that one centimeter on the map corresponds to one kilometer on the ground. The large coverage area makes the map particularly useful when planning longer hikes, ski trips, bike tours and snowmobile trips.

The map image is more generalized than on mountain maps at a scale of 1:50,000 or 1:25,000. For detailed navigation along smaller trails or in more complicated mountain terrain, a map with a larger scale can therefore be a good complement.

The map is printed on Tyvek, a lightweight and highly durable material that can withstand water, repeated folding, and frequent use. It works well in rain and snow and does not tear as easily in the folds as a traditional paper map.
