Spare tips for Åsnes ski poles. Fits all Åsnes ski poles and snow baskets.
New, improved and enhanced version from 2019.
Assembly:
To change the tips on Åsnes ski poles, you must preheat the Flex Tip in hot water. Then you can force them on/off by hand or with pliers.
When fitting a new tip, make sure the rod ends are properly threaded onto the metal pin inside the tip and that the rod goes all the way to the bottom of the tip. The metal pin inside the Flex Tip should go into the hole in the end of the ski pole. You must be prepared that you may need to drill the hole in the bottom of the rod a little larger, then with a 5 mm drill bit for metal.
Mount the Flex Tip with hot melt glue or PU glue. The flex tip of the ski pole must be pressed on with body weight, should bulge out slightly and sit snugly on the pole when properly fitted.
Do not use a hammer on the handle, as it may break due to the unnatural and powerful energy a hammer blow creates.
