Skiing: Åsnes Ingstad FL BC
Binding: Rottefella Xplore
We of course install the binding. Just let us know the size of the boot.
A modern touring ski with cutting and good speed and turning characteristics. An ideal ski for demanding downhill runs, but also works well for long rides on flat terrain. Ingstad has a distinct Nordic rocker and taper top, which makes the ski more turn-friendly. Ingstad has a wooden core of Paulownia and Poplar, which leads to an extremely low weight of only 2,050g in 195cm.
The ski fits well with 75mm, but BC binding can also be used.
If you want to make the most of Åsne's common system, we recommend that you use a narrow mohair (mohair 45mm) for cold and flat ground. Wet and steep terrain requires 58mm synthetic short felt
Weight: 1026 grams/pod (195cm)
Cut: 84-62-74
Choose the right length
Ski length is determined based on body weight and height. The table is only a guide, but experience, skill, terrain and individual needs can all influence your choice of length.
For beginners, short skis are easier to control. If you mainly ride trails, length is not the most important factor. To float well in deep snow, a lighter and wider ski is useful. Lighter skiers may consider a shorter ski; heavier skiers a longer ski. Skiers with loads such as backpacks and sleds may consider a longer ski.
