Ski: Åsnes Combat NATO 62 Waxless
Binding: Rottefella Xplore BC binding
We of course mount the binding. Just let us know the size of the boot.
A wide mountain ski with good flow, which is suitable for steep and demanding terrain. The ski has been developed to be used by the defense and for hunting and therefore has good gliding and riding properties. It is constructed with a moderate span, which together with the width and a cut of a full 22mm makes this a versatile mountain ski. The ski is equipped with a roll-free coating zone that ensures good grip and glide in moderate terrain, but at the same time maintains the ski's characteristics during large parts of the turn.
The ski has a modern construction with Nordic Rocker and Taper tip, as well as a solid wood core in Poplar, reinforced with Titanal in the binding zone.
A ski that can handle varied and tough use, as well as heavy loads.

Choice of ski length
Ski length is determined based on body height, weight and any skills. The table is intended as an aid and must not be followed slavishly. Skiing ability, terrain, weight and load as well as individual needs/habits are factors that influence the choice of length and model.
General advice: Traveling in rugged terrain requires shorter skis than open mountain expanses. For beginners, it is often easier with short skis. If you go a lot on rutted tracks, the length plays little role in terms of how well you float in the snow, then instead it is the span that is decisive. If it is a light person, she/he should also choose slightly shorter skis and vice versa if you are heavier.
