Ski: Åsnes Breidablikk BC
Binding: Rottefella NNN BC Magnum
We of course assemble the binding. Just let us know the size of the boot.
Without a steel edge, Breidablikk was developed for those who go to backcountry with their dog, regardless of whether they are hunting or simple company.
Breidablikk is a fantastic hunting ski with a soft tip and side wall of 22 mm, which makes it easy to turn and offers control in demanding terrain with calming support and float on deeper snow.
You do not have to be a hunter to comment on Breidablikk's suitability for long winter hikes in moderate terrain.
A faithful companion on the mountain.
Breidablikk skis are equipped with our Skinlock, ready for an X-Skin climbing skin to be attached in an instant to climb or secure the grip on challenging snow conditions.
Choose the right length
Ski length is determined based on body weight and height. The table below is just a guide, but experience, skill, terrain and individual needs can all influence your choice of height.
In general, shorter skis than the open mountain plateau require moving through tough terrain. And for beginners, short skis are easier to control. If you mainly ride along tracks, length is not the most important factor. To float well on deep snow, a lighter wider ski is useful. Lighter skiers may consider a shorter ski; heavier skiers a longer skiing. Skiers with loads such as backpacks and sleds can consider longer skiing.
