Airtrim Race

Airtrim Race is suitable for people who play sports at an elite level or with high intensity in training. The Race model is delivered with a Racing1 filter mounted in the mask and Racing 2 and Racing 3 filters for activities with slightly higher demands on air permeability. Racing 3 is the filter that produces the least moisture and heat and is suitable for hard training or competition. Airtrim Race can be used with advantage when cross-country skiing, running or other winter sports with high intensity.

Airtrim is a moisture/heat exchanger that uses the moisture and heat of exhaled air. When inhaled, the air in the filter is heated, thus protecting the airways against the cold.

The Airtrim breathing mask is made of molded foam plastic that covers both nose and mouth. This makes Airtrim extra comfortable and warming compared to other heat exchangers on the market.

The filters become damp with continuous use, so it is a good idea to blow out the moisture with a strong exhalation at regular intervals.

Wet filters are fragile, always let the mask and filter air dry.

Feel free to bring dry spare filters on long training sessions and on longer mountain trips.

Airtrim is also excellent for training in ski tunnels where the air is often very dry.

Airtrim can also be used as a vital heat reserve in the event of accidents. It takes significantly longer to get cold with the mask on.

Sports, racing and asthma filters

Two filters are supplied with the Airtrim breathing mask. A sports filter that is particularly suitable for winter training and a racing filter with lower air resistance that is suitable for harder training.

Airtrim is also available with asthma filters that are suitable for people who have particular difficulty with cold, for example people with asthma, bronchitis or angina.
