Airtrim Asthma/Sport filter - 2-pack

Airtrim Asthma/Sport filter is a replacement filter for the Airtrim breathing mask, developed to provide high heat and moisture recovery when you are staying or exercising in cold air. The filter uses the heat and moisture in the exhaled air to warm and humidify the air for the next inhalation.

The Asthma/Sport filter is suitable for walking, outdoor activities, cross-country skiing and low to moderate intensity exercise in cold conditions. The manufacturer also recommends the filter type for people who are particularly sensitive to cold air, such as those with cold asthma, asthma or COPD.

More warmth for cold workouts

Airtrim's different filters have different densities and thus different balances between air resistance and heat recovery. The Asthma/Sport filter prioritizes heat and moisture, which means a higher air resistance than Airtrim's Racing filter.

For harder training and high intensity, one of the Racing filters is therefore recommended, which allows more air through but provides less heat recovery.

Asthma/Sport or Racing filter?

Choose Asthma/Sport when heat and humidity are more important than maximum airflow. For high-intensity running or skiing, Racing 1, 2 and 3 provide progressively lower air resistance and less heat.

Airtrim filter care

During prolonged use, the filter becomes damp from exhaled air. Therefore, blow out condensation regularly with a forceful exhalation.

After use, the filter should be removed and air dried at room temperature. Wet filters are fragile and should be handled with care. Airtrim normally recommends replacing approximately once per season, depending on how much the filter is used.
