See our entire range from Crispi here!

Crispi Bre GTX 75mm is a strong, stable and classic ski touring boot developed for skiing with wide alpine skis and hunting skis. With a focus on stability, control and weather protection, this is an excellent choice for those who ski in varied terrain, often with heavier packs or in demanding winter conditions.

The ski boot is made of water-repellent full-grain Amphibious® leather and equipped with a GORE-TEX® membrane , which keeps feet dry and comfortable regardless of weather and snow conditions. The torsionally stiff sole and slightly higher shaft provide increased stability and better power transfer - especially important when skiing, downhill skiing and when pulling a sled.

Crispi Bre is compatible with 75 mm bindings and is an obvious choice for traditional ski touring where robustness and control are prioritized.

Foot length is the measured measurement of the foot. Mondopoint is the size reference that Crispi connects to the respective ski boot size.

What is the size of the Crispi Bre 75mm?

Crispi Bre is stated to have a normal fit. Therefore, start with the size that corresponds to your measured foot length, not just the size you usually wear in everyday shoes.

A few user reviews describe the Bre as somewhat roomy in length or volume, but the base is too limited to recommend that everyone go down a size. If you have narrow or low-volume feet, it is especially important to check the heel grip.

If your foot measurement falls between two of the model's full sizes:

  • Try the larger size first if your toes are at risk of reaching forward.
  • Please compare with the size below if you have narrow feet or experience heel movement.
  • Don't choose a shorter size if your toes hit the front edge when you bend your knees.
  • Keep in mind that the leather can shape itself slightly over the width and volume of the foot, but the boot will not become longer.

Example: A foot measuring 275 mm corresponds to EU 43. If the foot measures around 280 mm, between the model's full sizes 43 and 44, EU 44 should be the first size to try - but check that the heel sits securely.

How to measure your foot

  1. Put on the technical ski sock you intend to use.
  2. Place a piece of paper on the floor with the short side against a wall.
  3. Stand on the paper with your heel lightly against the wall and full body weight on your foot.
  4. Mark in front of the longest toe.
  5. Measure the distance from the wall to the mark.
  6. Repeat with the other foot and use the longest measurement.

Crispi's size chart is designed with technical socks in mind, so don't add extra centimeters to your foot measurement.

Which socks are suitable?

It is best to use a thin or medium-thick technical ski sock made of wool or functional material. A very thick sock can make the ski boot tighter, impair blood circulation and actually make your feet colder.

Always measure and try on the ski boot with the same type of sock that you will use during the trip.

How should Crispi Bre 75mm fit?

A correct size should provide:

  • Stable heel with no noticeable play when you bend your foot.
  • Room to move your toes without your foot sliding forward.
  • No constant contact between the toes and the front edge of the ski boot.
  • Even support around the midfoot and ankle without sharp pressure points.
  • Enough space for normal blood circulation during longer rides.

Lace up your ski boot evenly and walk around indoors for a while. Bend your knees and simulate a ski step to check heel grip, toe space and any pressure over the ankle.

Binding compatibility

Crispi Bre is made for traditional 75 mm bindings , also called Nordic Norm or 3-pin.

The ski boot is not compatible with:

  • NNN BC
  • Standard NNN, Prolink or Turnamic
  • Rottefella Xplore
  • SNS
  • NTN telemark bindings

Always check that the skis have a 75 mm binding before ordering the boots.
